This is the new Storrington Football Club clubhouse
next to the Chanctonbury Leisure Centre nearing completion. It was
built with money from the National Lottery and the fact that Vipers would
be allowed to use it was one of the reasons the grant was made.

| The only problem is pitches! Vipers would not be allowed
to use the SFC pitch. We can use the Hoaremare pitch, its not the flattest
pitch in Storrington, although grant money is available to level it! Wouldn’t
it be nice to be able to have 2 pitches on the Recreation ground at the
front of the Leisure Centre which at the moment is used exclusively
by the Cricket Club! |
